1 What did you find interesting about this article? List 3 points and explain why you found those interesting.
Women in their early twenties only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant after unprotected sex
I found this interesting because what we learn in health class is that having unprotected sex is a huge risk people take as it is very likely that you will become pregnant after. The fact that the previous statement we have origionally learned ahas been justified is what made this point interesting in my point of view.

The chances of having a multiple births such as twins, and even triplets, is higher in a woman’s late thirties than in their early twenties
This is interesting to me because I beleieved that birth was a natural process and things just happened on its own, for example, multiple births randomly occurred. This point states that women in their late thirties have an increased rate of multiple births shocks me.

More than half of all pregnancies that occur to women in their mid-to-late fourties end in miscarriages
This statement interests me because of the high miscarriage rate. Although it was pretty clear that women who try to concieve later have it harder. I thought it meant that trying to get pregnant was hard, not also the safety of the unborn child (miscarriage)

2 How does this article relate to our course? This article is interrelated to our course as it clearly states what to expect when having a baby in your twenties, thirties, fourties, and even after fifty. Our course, Raising Healthy Children, better known as Parenting, has the ultimate goal of preparing us with the information that would benefit us whilst thinking and planning on having children in the future. This article gives us a lot of information on the different expectations that occur during different age groups and provides a clear idea on what is awaiting a future parent.

3 What misperceptions that the article question? The misconceptions that the article questions is that the older you get, the harder it will be to concieve and raise a child without any deficiencies or abnormalities. This statement can be justified as an older woman who is physically and emotionally healthy and stable has a higher chance of having a healthy baby as aopposed to a younger woman who does not take proper care of herself.

4 Would you recommend a particular course of action or a recommendation based on this article? Please explain I would recommend that women have children as young as they feel comfortable wth. This s because when women are young, their eggs are as well, and as they age, it will be harder for the older eggs to be able to fertilize completely. I also recommend that women stay healthy and fit so
