Hitler was a man of great ambition. He was able to rally the Germans from the loss of the first world war and ruin, using his great persuasive skills to lead an army and induce pride in their country. Pride represents one’s sense of status or accomplishments above others, and is considered a deadly sin due to its many flawed characteristics. the negative connotation induces supremacism, the belief that a race or religion is superior to others and should rule over those who are not the same. The opposite of pride would be humility; humbleness, the idea that you view yourself as less important to another. There have been many cases in history that have shown us examples of pride, most in extreme cases. Hitler was a well known dictator who ruled Nazi Germany and had a high amount of pride in his country. However, not all of pride can be considered bad. Bill Gates is an example of this, as he holds high standards on his work. Adolf was known for his speeches that would inspire the men enough to do what he wanted them to do.
