Louis was sent the military because they needed help during the war and he was stationed at the Eiffel Tower. After the war was over he went straight back to school and started learning about physics. He got his doctors degree in 1925 and right after he got his doctors degree he went directly into teaching. He didn’t even have to look for a job because right when he graduated he was offered jobs to teach. While he was teaching he would think of theories, but the theory he had was the same theory that he was talking about in his speech. Louis de Broglie came up with the quantum theory and it’s a theory of matter and energy based on the concept of quanta, and quanta is the energy proportions that aligns with the atom, kind of like how the Bohr models shows the electrons. He was also the man who discovered that light can be shown as waves or particles. This was a big deal because no one knew much about light. Because of this discovery he won a Nobel Prize for physics. The reason he came up with this theory is because he had a friend named Maurice and he had lab where Louis would
