During this semester, I have been volunteering with few different organizations. I have been volunteering for Prison Book Program, Wednesday Night Supper Club, Monday Night Supper Club, And Christopher’s Haven. All the volunteering opportunity is weekly. Volunteers meet at Center for Community Engagement office in Sawyer building, then travel together to the volunteering location.
Prison Book Program locate in Quincy. It helps prisoners to become educated. This program read letters that were send by prisoners, then sort and package books that are request by prisoners. After that this program will send those packages of books back to them. Wednesday Night Supper Club and Monday Night Supper Club help serve meals to people that need help in
