Another concept that was taught this was about the 14th Amendment. The 14th Amendment basically states that every state is suppose to treat everyone born in the United States equally, and not make any laws that can take away a person’s right as a citizen. Within the 14th Amendment it talks about a process called due process. Due process is for both the 5th and 14th Amendment which provides that no one should be deprived of their rights as citizens.
