How to change you oil on your vehicle
This is the process of the proper way to change you oil on your vehicle. Some people that change their own oil prefer this over going to a shop because changing it at home saves money. Me and my brother learned to change oil at a very early age. Regularly changing your cars oil and filter is one of the most important things you can do to keep your car great running condition over a period of time oil filters become clogged with dirt and debris. Second, you will need an oil filter and wrenches. Third, you will need the correct size socket wrench to remove the oil drain plug. Fourth, you will need a good drain pan, which you may pick up at any auto store for around 10 dollars. Finally, you will want some wash clothes, rags, or paper towels to wipe up any spills that may occur. All these materials you can find at any auto store or Wal-Mart. The Second step to performing a proper oil change is to remove the old oil. The way that you do this is to identify where where the drain plug is located. You will need to grab the socket wrench that fits over the oil plug and start to loosen it. Be ready for a oil spill so make sure that you have you oil pan in hand. Now that your oil is darning into the oil pan wait till all of the oil is drained from your vehicle; once you oil has been drained; you maybe re insert the oil plug and tighten well.
The Third step is to remove the oil filter; remove the oil filter either by hand or with an oil filter wrench. When placing the new oil filter into the car; make sure it is properly screwed in so that no oil shall leak, when re-filled with oil. Do not use the oil filter wrench to tighten, always tighten the filter with your hand so that you do not damage the oil
