My biggest academic challenge was getting over procrastination, especially when a deadline is over a week away. I would begin on a project right when it is assigned and do very little work and then come back to the project the day before it is due. Because of the little time I gave myself to finish the project, it was never the best I could do. My grades began to reflect the work that I was putting in, so I decided to make a change. Because procrastinating was a habit, it was hard to break and I knew that I was not going to change overnight.
