I have always set goals for myself because I believe people are more successful when they know what they are working towards. One professional goal that I have is to earn my masters degree in curriculum and instruction. This is important to me because I want to continue my education and better myself as an educator for my students. I have always loved school and I believe that we are life long learners. Another professional goal of mine is to have a secure tenured teaching job in either middle level math or an upper elementary level. This goal will help me to be able to improve my curriculum each year, establish better relationships with my colleagues, and create more stability in my life. I will not have to worry as much about having a job the following year or moving around and starting over in a new district. I would also like to take on a coaching role in the next five years. I grew up loving sports and playing them all throughout my years in school. As a teacher, I hope to have the opportunity …show more content…
One of them is to complete a triathlon and a tough mudder. I have been active most of my life and value health and fitness. I have already run three half marathons and love competing in a variety of sports. When I have an end goal, I find it easier to train and push myself to prepare for the competition. I also love traveling. Before I settle down with a family, I hope to travel around the United States and other countries. My family has always loved to travel and have been to forty-eight states and a few countries as well. I want to continue this hobby and explore more of the world. Another goal I wish to accomplish in the next five years is to buy a house. After I complete grad school, I plan to start saving to be able to buy my own house. This is important because I want to start investing in my future and establish roots in a city that I will call home for the years to
