Professional Presentations, Structure & Support

Organizational Management and Leadership chapter 5 introduces three components in the text that will be discussed in this paper. The three components are professional presentations, structures and support of and effective presentations. Effective presentation requires relevant information presented in an efficient combination successfully in business issues. In addition, biblical prospect discussion on how as leader’s presentation should be executed in a Christian manner.

(Satterlee, 2013) states a presenter should always adhere to the cliché, yet preverbal, presentations truth. Furthermore, the presentation format should be sequel, logical and allow the audience to stay focus on the topic at hand (Satterlee, 2013). Also important to a presentation is the style which can connect the audience to the information conveyed. It’s important that the presenter always use directive eye contact, voice flection, prompts meaning power points and practice with a presenter’s voice by speaking loud enough were the audience can hear and understand for the support of the presentation. As discussed structure visual aids are very important and power points always worked in presenting presentations in my classes thus a presenter can orally speak while showing slides to help remember and stay focus on the presentation. Although the research on the basic elements is rather sparse, the multimedia elements of movement, music, and videos have a stronger evidence base and have the potential to increase learning.
