On March 23, 2010, there was an act that was passed by President Obama called the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act which was officially signed into law. Since then, many people have speculated about its impact on the healthcare industry. There have been many debates held on both sides of the political spectrum on the success of the law and its outcomes for average people. The Affordable Care Act can also be known as the ACA or Obamacare. This act was created to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to a wider range of American people.
