There are strong moral and ethical debates for and against physician-assisted suicide (PAS). Physician-assisted suicide is when a doctor intentionally provides terminally ill patients with the means by which they take their own lives. Furthermore, supporters believe that legalizing the assisted suicide would ease the financial burden of nursing terminally ill individuals.
