Based on research we are able to come to the conclusion that probation supervision is very complicated a disproportionate concern for anxiety and stress due to the culture involved (Siegel, L., 2014)..The basic goals of probation are to promote law-abiding behavior by the offender; to keep the adjudicated individual in the community and out of prison and, thereby, avoid the stigma of incarceration (Siegel, L., 2014). Probation generally involves suspension of the offender’s sentence in return for the promise of good behavior in the community (Siegel, L., 2014). Probation supervision is made harder by the range of offenders that must be supervised (Siegel, L., 2014). The violent offenders on probation status represent a serious concern and can represent safety issues (Siegel, L., 2014).
