Should we allow Satan be elected?
The elections from the past couple of years tells us a lot about our country and the federal parties that we enjoy voting for in order to aid the development of our country. What is a political party? Well, according to The Canada Elections Act, a political party is ‘’an organization, whose fundamental purpose is to participate in public affairs by endorsing one or more of its members as candidates and supporting their election.’’ This means that anyone can create a federal party as long as they meet multiple conditions. Yes, it could cause some amusement, but it also causes chaos. Not only are they considering to become allies with enemies of our country like Isil, Isis, and Al-Qaeda, they want to privatize the Canadian army and effectively cause the destruction of our political system.
In an attempt to remove parties that are saying all of these barbaric remarks, Canada created a law named: ‘’The Fair Elections Act Of Canada.’’ which made all political parties obliged to follow numerous conditions to participate in the election process . But in response, the president of the party filed a $50 million dollar lawsuit contesting it. The president, Brian Salmi, legally changed his name to Satan and brought upon the government a lawsuit named: ‘’Satan vs Her Majesty The Queen.’’ The lawsuit was later dropped when the law was reversed in 2004.
These parties platforms have nothing to do with Canada and are mostly mischievous in nature, for example, if the Rhinoceros party is elected, they promise to: Repeal the law of gravity, Count the Thousand islands to make sure the Americans didn’t steal any, ban Ikea and Android phones and many more. None of these platforms can aid Canada in any way making the party irrelevant to vote
