“Sanctuary cities” and the problem they are creating

Sanctuary cities and whether or not they should be permitted? The big political problem and division, especially in this most recent election cycle, has been immigration and immigration reforms or a downright halt to it all together has been mentioned. But amidst all the confusion and the statements that have been made it's clear America is still divided and very much so especially now to the point where some cities are possibly considering defying national law by refusing to deport or at least acknowledge the fact that they have illegals or undocumented people within their cities borders and that by their refusal to report them they believe they are creating a safe space

In addition to this, the reason’s or possible reasons officials or governments on the state level may be declaring sanctuary cities is a major question to? Some of the reasons may be to appease or appeal to foundations or societies that hold large political influence such as the NCLR or the MALDF the “Mexican American legal defense and education fund” which puts these so-called “Organizations for a better cause under scrutiny” as they lobby for informal or formal sanctuary laws to be passed by either making donations to the state and lobbying local governments. Additionally, the lobbyists and politicians who support sanctuary city laws either hope to gain political support by doing so or have ulterior motives including economic self-gain or ethnocentric ideals which they are pushing to gain voter support. In addition, the sanctuary city policies have left police forces in shambles as the police are not allowed in sanctuary cities to report legal or illegal status to the federal organization of immigration or ICE the “Immigrations and customs enforcement so they may enforce the laws
