A community is defined as a group of people living in the same place of having particular characteristics in common. Despite having a universal definition, each community is unique in its own way because of its beneficial features. A prime example of this idea is the city of Sebring, nicknamed “The City on the Circle”. Sebring is an uncommon community that boasts many positive aspects such as being family-oriented, supporting the local people, and allowing the residents to live a relaxing lifestyle. It goes without saying that a relaxed lifestyle is always preferable, and Sebring grants this as a surely positive aspect. One of the greatest contributions towards a non-hectic lifestyle is the absence of excessive traffic. If someone were to drive down the highway or through downton, they could have a peaceful time without car horns blaring or being stationary for hours on end. Because Sebring is a rural community, cars and trucks do not overflow streets creating chaos. Instead, people can get from one end of town to the other in a matter of minutes. By having low traffic rates, Sebring provides residents with a sense of relaxation, because traveling from point A to point B is no longer a source of worry nor a waste of time. There are a lot of things in life to worry about, yet Sebring has made sure that traffic is not one of those worries. Another way this community has granted relaxed lifestyles to citizens is by letting them have easy access to all of daily life’s necessities. As a result of being a relatively small community, important services such as banks, hospitals, and supermarkets can be quickly accessed by most residents of Sebring. The downtown area is no more than 20 minutes of driving distance from anywhere in the city, which is relatively low compared to urban cities. Some people would claim that Sebring is too small and there is not as much to do as larger cities. Of course this may be true since Sebring is a rather small community, however, what is lacks in size is made up in heart. By being a small community, the people here know each other better and are overall closer as unified group because of the undersized population. Opponents can view the small size as a drawback, but it can most definitely be considered a positive aspect since a tight-knit group of members better defines a community that a large scale metropolis. Others could also view Sebring as having limited variety of activities because of its rural location. Still, the lack of certain amenities is more than well compensated for by the relaxed lifestyle that is offered, which does not demand the various luxuries found in some other cities.
