Private space travel can mean that other countries such as China and Russia will learn more about space while the U.S. is struggling building space ships. Recently Nasa had to pay $70 million to fly American astronauts on Russian spacecrafts to the ISS after a spacecraft that was originally planning on sending these american astronauts failed. On the other side of the world, China has now landed astronauts on the moon making it the 3rd country to ever do so. The U.S. is having trouble with funding NASA to build these spacecrafts and rockets which can mean that other countries might be ahead of the U.S. This proves that other countries are surpassing us in the space race which can mean that another country might take over and know more about space. As stated in CBS News, “NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said that because Congress didn't add enough to the commercial space program, launches from U.S. soil had to be pushed back two years, requiring more Russian rides.”(“NASA: Seats on Russian rockets will cost U.S. $490 million”
