Tyranny is harsh absolute power in the hands of one individual like a king or a dictator, this is caused by the three powers in the hands of one person. There are many types of tyranny for example one were the the king or supreme ruler takes all the power to himself, or when the generals grasp the power for themselves. Or lastly when all the powers go to the majority of the population. Many people were worried about federalism because in past times revolutionary wars occurred due to that problem, and people at one point protested against having king or a supreme ruler. The constitution was system of balances created by the same people who made the checks and balances document. The legislative branch, executive, and judicial branch always had a way to communicate but due to a statement was the constitution grew farther and farther but close to control tyranny would not be a problem.
