Sydney is using operant conditioning, when she started wearing provocative clothing. Since she liked the attention it was giving her regardless of whether or not it was positive or negative she was still getting attention.

Raoul is experiencing classical conditioning, he correlates the bad storms with losing power and by the way it sounds he is possibly afraid of the dark. After being left alone in the house for several hours he refuses to be left alone when he knows a storm is coming because he thinks when the storm hits, the power will be lost again and he will be left in the dark for several hours once again.
