“A bad brother is better than no brother.” This proverb means that we should appreciate our surroundings because when we don't have them, then we will notice their value. I agree with this proverb because I also face this problem many times. For example, once my computer was old, so I threw it out thinking my parents would get me a new one. However, they didn't get me a new one. I really started to miss my old computer because it stilled at least worked. I started to value that computer when it was gone, but I didn't value it when I had it. This is why we should appreciate our surroundings.

“He who mounts two horses splits in two.” This proverb means that you should never try to get ahead of yourself, or do something quick. When you do this, then you wouldn't be able to complete the task efficiently. If you try to do something to fast, then your work won't be nice and neat also. For example, if a man tries to ride two horses at once, then he wouldn't even be able to control one. However, if his focus is just on one horse, the he would successfully ride that horse. I agree with this proverb because I also try to get ahead of myself sometimes. I leave things for the last minute, then I try to multitask and do it quickly. This never works out because my work ends up to be bedraggled.

“It is better to have a clever enemy than a blundering friend.” This proverb means that I should prefer an intelligent enemy than a foolish
