I agree with my results on the "What is My Level of Psy Cap" self-assessment. It is true that I have great capabilities in producing the required results whether in an individual case or rather a team work case. On the other hand, my ability to overcome challenges is moderate. I feel that help is needed in such cases as those when my projects and objectives have been overwhelmed by problems. In addition, I also accept the fact that my hope is high, I agree that I have the attitude in believing that things will happen for the best. However, my optimism levels are relative to the specific case I am handling.

This means that one performs a task expecting a reward from outside or avoiding punishment. In an employment scenario, this motivation is often used (Bruce, 2011). Employees are motivated through a promise of rewards after they perform certain tasks to the required standards. In the first case (x), employee’s are difficult and requires the management to issue threats to ensure they work and achieve the set objectives. According to Maslow, employee motivation is a basic aspect to employers and the organization at large (Maslow, 2013). This means that management have the responsibility to clear all of the basic deficiencies such as good working environments. In addition, the organization moves to extra mile motivation which includes physical utilities, security (job security, good salary), and sense of belonging through joining teams and allowing participation as well as team building activities. The company should also consider increasing employee’s self-esteem by giving challenging tasks and praising where they have performed exemplary well (Maslow, 2013).
