For me, psychology is a form of boundless recursion. It is a relatively new science - beginning in the late 19th century - that has provided a medium for introspection. My intense navel-gazing has lead to my interest in the minds of others. Psychology explains why we do what we do, why we are how we are, why we think how we think, and why we feel the way we feel.
