There is a difference between spirituality and religion. One person may identify as a spiritual, but feel no connection to religion. This is such a personal subject that conversations relating to spirituality and often shied away. Psychology is typically respected as a scientific discipline, but there are many people that will shy away from the subject as well.
Though these subjects are rarely mentioned together is there a shared point of interest? Does psychology have room for spirituality/ religion? Where does psychology fit in with spirituality/religion? Does it fit at all?

This up and coming issue is something to be researched and developed further. This has been shown by recent articles and even the current presidential race.
This is a social constructivist interpretive framework that is intended for this transpersonal study to be researched. Social constructivism emphasis focuses on the significance of values and environment (Derry, 1999). Several theorists have contributed tremendously to the progress of combination of spirituality/religion and psychology development (Derry, 1999). Essentially three factors are the root of this theory it is the assumption of learning, knowledge and learning. As with all research each factor contributes differences to the subject, but knowledge and understanding of all is vital.
