If the Government is so in panic about the public safety of this country because of the increase of immigrants , then maybe officials should put more focus in detaining serious criminal than numerous of innocent people. In November 2013, The U.S Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) has been demanded by congress to fill 34,000 beds in detention facilities. Many of these detainees are not incarcerated not because they are dangerous, or they will skip the court date but because ICE must meet an arbitrary quota set by Congress.
