“Pumped Up Kicks”
In this beautiful yet toxic world, there are a whole lot of people hurting. They are in so much pain that they do not know what to do. Some of them are bullied in school every single day and they are unaware of what action they can take. This tremendous pain can result in school shootings. However, as much pain as they are in, this awful act of violence will never be the answer. There will be so many innocent people hurt due to these actions.
Parents are typically unaware of how much pain their son or daughter is going through. They will probably not even believe that their child could go through with the idea of a school shooting. When they do they will be in an excruciating amount of emotional pain. This is because they will be so ashamed of both themselves and their child. They could go to one of their teachers and tell them about the events that are going on in his or her life, they could grin and bear it, or they could try to convince their parents to move them to a different school if the bullying doesn’t stop. Tattling is one of the most effective of these approaches and should be attempted first. Even though tattling may seem lame it can be extremely beneficial in the long run. However, sometimes there will not be a teacher that they can go to for help. If this is the case they could try the guidance counselor since that is more or less in their job description. Later, on if this is unsuccessful they could just grin and bear it until the bully moves on to another person. However, this usually seems just to be effective when they are dealing with one bully. As a last resort, they can talk to their parents about how they are no longer capable of going through the constant mayhem that is their school life. This typically works if they happen to have a decent parent who understands what they are going
