Pursuing My Educational Goals

As the great philosopher Regina Mills once said, “Goals give us a sense of purpose; it drives us to do certain tasks.” Goals are like guides that help us solve problems and allow us to deal with certain situations. I have spent quite some time considering my goals and how I plan on reaching them. Some of my goals are higher priorities and some are indirectly related to each other. A few of my goals include earning as many scholarships in order to lessen my parents’ financial stress, improving my physical fitness, addressing the rising sea level issue, and dealing with the dwindling amount of resources. One of my short term educational goals is to earn as many scholarships in order to lessen my parents’ financial stress. My parents have always stressed the importance of succeeding in school. This is a concern that affects everybody. For those who will on islands such as myself or near coastal areas, our beloved home will be engulfed by the sea. This will force us to live either on water, underwater, or move elsewhere. For those who think they are unaffected, think again. Crowds of people will flock to your beloved cities and neighborhoods, thus making your population drastically increase and forcing you to share your resources. I have a plan that will prevent this. If I can create a device that will freeze the ice back to the way it was before it started to melt at such a drastic pace, then not only will the sea level not rise, but also decrease. The plan is simple yet the process to get there is not. This sounds great in theory, but my completed education will be required to turn this dream into a
