Describe the purpose of a team
Answer
The purpose for creating a team is to provide a framework that will increase the ability of staff to participate in planning, problem solving and decision making to better serve our clients. Increased participation promotes: better understanding of decisions, more support for and participation in care plans, increased contribution to problem solving and decision making, and more ownership of decisions, processes, and changes.
In order for teams to fulfill their intended role of improving organizational effectiveness, it is critical for teams to develop that communication is key. Team members that are focused on their goal, mission, or reason for existing and receive support from managers and colleagues and have their achievements recognised and praise given where due work better as a team, providing the best service possible for our service users.

How do you identify opportunities and difficulties faced by team members?
Answer
I do this by being very visual with staff in the office and observing their tasks and paperwork completed. This is also highlighted in supervisions that I complete with staff once every month and team meetings which take place once per week across all projects where we can come together and discuss as a team therefore being able to gain input and feedback and suggestions to any particular member of staff that may be facing difficulties or opportunities.

I support team members by providing an open door policy whereby staff can approach me at any time to discuss any issues. I also do this by supervisions with staff discussions at briefings each morning and team meetings (weekly). If any difficulties
