1) Belts and zones are the dark and light bands are towards the top of Jupiter's atmosphere. They are formed by convection in the atmosphere, where belts are cool material that is sinking and zones are warmer material that is rising. So they create a force on themselves. The Great Red Spot is more like a zone than a belt because it is made up of warmer material that is rising up from below.
2) Because Saturn is tilted relative to the ecliptic plane, depending on where it is in its orbit, we see either the underside of the rings, the top side of the rings, or, occasionally, we don’t see the rings at all. also known as ring-plane crossing
3) When the spacecraft passed radio signals were sent from the spacecraft through the rings and back. By doing this they were able to determine the sizes of the particles.
4) Its because Jupiter is so large even when being seen from earth. Mars on the other hand is so small that even when it is at its closest to earth it is no bigger than about half the size that Jupiter appears.
5) The reasons they are similar: One reason is the density of Galilean satellites decrease with distance from Jupiter, like the planets in our solar system. And another is the system of Galilean satellites resembles our solar system in that smaller objects orbit the large object as the gravitational center. Reasons they are different: Jupiter is not a star that warms the surface of the planets. And another is there are no gas
