For instance, themes of gentrification, housing discrimination, social class, sexuality, gender roles, cultural, and family values. These themes have a noteworthy impact in the course that represents Chicana/o families as diverse and as a social structure. This film showcases an understanding of the realities and experiences of Chicana/o families. That is valued through the complication of the numerous stages of the human cycle from the development of pre-birth through late adulthood.
