Tarro’s Terror (Book 12.5) After all of my men exclaimed their goodbyes to Circe, we were finally back at sea. The sea shimmered as the sun rays hit the crystal-clear water. The dreamy sea had a rhythmic pulse of waves that felt like the heartbeat of Earth. My men’s sweat dripped down their faces as they rowed the boat through the rough waters. They were all aching to be back at Circe’s home having dinner be served to them. I decided that I was not going to tell my men about what Circe told me about the obstacles coming up - Scylla, Charybdis, the Sirens and Tarro. It was better that they did not know. After about a week, I was starting to think that Scylla and Tarro did not exist. However, I was clearly wrong. We encountered Tarro at the dead of night on the eleventh night we were back at sea. This sea dragon had an elegant body with a stubby neck. Tarro was completely covered with light blue scales that camouflaged with the waves of the ocean and shined in the presence of the moonlight.
