Dear RMIT University graduation candidate
In celebration of your academic achievement at RMIT, your family and friends, RMIT staff, and distinguished guests will join together on
Wednesday 17 December for the 2014 Melbourne Graduation Ceremony.
This ceremony will recognise the hard work, commitment and dedication shown by you in attaining your qualification.
We hope that this ceremony will be a memorable milestone for you, your family and friends.
The ceremony will last for approximately two-and-a-half hours, with celebrations continuing afterwards. This booklet contains all the details you need to know to ensure your graduation runs smoothly.
Please read the booklet carefully prior to the ceremony and share the information with your family and friends.

Last day to confirm your attendance online and pay. If you do not confirm your attendance by this date, your award may be conferred in absentia.

End of November
Gown and ticket collection letter mailed to graduation candidates who have confirmed their attendance online and paid.

Post-ceremony celebrations

The ceremony includes an academic procession, speeches and the presentation of awards to graduating doctoral, postgraduate, undergraduate and vocational education students. It will be followed by a celebration on the arena with RMIT staff, graduates and guests.

How to Participate
You can participate in the 2014 Melbourne Graduation Ceremony if you have:
—— completed all your program requirements by the end of
Semester 2 2014
—— submitted your work on time
—— passed all your final exams and assessment tasks
—— been authorised by your school by the due date to receive your award
—— cleared any debts to the University and don’t have any outstanding enrolment requirements —visit the Hub on your campus or call tel. +61 3 9925 8980 during business hours if you have any queries.
You will not be able to participate if you have not met all academic requirements for your program, cleared any debts and have outstanding enrolment requirements before Graduation.
