On 2/8/18 at approximately 1200 hours, TFA’S (TASK FORCE AGENT) Kollmann and I Agent Royel who are currently assigned to the Merced Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team (MAGNET), met with the suspect in this case identified as Pardeep RANDHAWA (DOB: 2/15/94) at the John Latorraca

Merced County Correctional Facility, to meet with RANDHAWA for an interview in regards to this case. RANDHAWA is currently in custody for a separate case by the Livingston Police Department.

PULIDO resides near RANDHAWA’s residence. PULIDO resides at 315 Paradise Drive in the city of Livingston.
When RANDHAWA was asked whose idea it was for this incident, RANDHAWA said “his” reffering to the incident being PULIDO’s idea. According to RANDHAWA “the Indian guy” referring to SAINI “hit him up” which is slang for calling and/or contacting someone, and had asked for “dope” which is a slang term for drugs. RANDHAWA stated that he wanted “crystal” referring to Crystal Methamphetamine. PULIDO told RANDHAWA to “not give him shit” and to “take his money.” An agreement was made with SAINI by PULIDO for the amount of $200.00.
RANDHAWA had originally met with SAINI at the TA gas station in Livingston and SAINI was soliciting a female subject with RANDHAWA for sexual intercourse. They told SAINI no. SAINI had inquired purchasing “dope” from RANDHAWA and told SAINI he could get him “dope.” SAINI gave RANDHAWA his phone number. RANDHAWA had received a text from SAINI and RANDHAWA had sold him drugs at one time. RANDHAWA met SAINI at Donnelly Park and would not go into details about this

They left the Gallo Park in PULIDO’S car which RANDHAWA described as a four door gray Chevy vehicle. RANDHAWA has been in PULIDO’S vehicle before.
RANDHAWA was sitting in the front passenger seat, PULIDO was in the driver seat and SAINI had entered the vehicle and was sitting in the rear passenger seat. PULIDO began to drive around when they began to discuss the transaction. RANDHAWA and PULIDO told SAINI that they wanted to see the money and SAINI told them to let him see the “stuff.” According to RANDHAWA, SAINI had wrapped his arm around his neck from behind. PULIDO then punched SAINI and when SAINI let go, RANDHAWA punched SAINI. According to RANDHAWA they then let SAINI out of the vehicle.
RANDHAWA was claiming that SAINI was trying to rob him and PULIDO. RANDHAWA said they had the drugs and were going to sell it to him. When we began to speak with RANDHAWA about SAINI’S injuries and the gun involved in the incident. RANDHAWA told us it was a “bb gun.” We told RANDHAWA the firearm was described as a shotgun. RANDHAWA said it looked like a shotgun but it was not. RANDHAWA stated that the BB gun had a pistol grip and also had a “orange tip” on it. RANDHAWA does not know where the BB gun is currently. PULIDO had the BB gun to scare SAINI if they had too, according to
