My initial impression of this class was that it would be very interesting and I would learn a lot when it comes to different races. When it comes to different races, I know a little bit, but not as much as I should because race was never a factor in my up keeping. My impression on other races we are all the same. When it comes to race in this country, Roman Times it was always about the rich and there was no concern for the needs of the people. Not everyone comes from the same background and race should not determine a factor but it does.

Examples; why is it that an African American male/female can fight for this country. Come back to this country and it is hard for them to receive the correct medical attention they may need or even a job. How can you send a 14 yr. Juvenile once again African American who has committed a harsh crime goes to prison and he does his time and allow him /her back out on the streets without having the resources for that him/her to learn to become a productive citizen in society? I received those impressions from being aware of things that are going on around me and dealing with a lot of hardship in life as well.
