Throughout the film Zootopia we see that based on race, some animals are treated differently than others. Even though it’s a film and they are animals there’s a deeper meaning into this that compares to our society today. The characters could relate to peoples race in the real world and show a similarity on both societies. Based on an animal’s race it determines how they are treated.

One example of this would be in the beginning when the main protagonist, Judy Hops, starts to get her dream crushed of becoming a cop because she’s a bunny. Her hometown and even her parents didn’t believe she could become a cop because she’s a bunny. Based on her race, a bunny, she can’t be a cop but, it’s not true since she’s willing to do anything to achieve
