Racial profiling is a major issues that our society is facing. More often than not, racial profiling is always excused or label as “doing my job”. Many people can’t accept that they are really profiling someone and even if the person did know, at times there can be little done to change their action. Before solution for racial profile can be made known, it is important to understand the causes of racial profiling. There hasn't been a single person alive, unless they are born blind, have profiled a person in some ways in our life. It is in our nature to judge a person, even if for 2 seconds. We may pre-assumption on the person based on appearance and etc. Once those assumption are wrong we either change and feel bad for thinking it and move on, or keep those thought forever. …show more content…
We only know what we’ve been exposed to, and sadly a lot of those who racial profiled tend to not be exposed to other races enough and believe the stereotype and image that comes with a certain race. Depending on the situations, there are a few solutions to go about preventing racial profiling. The first would be for cities, school, parents, anyone to greatly expose their young to different race. Help the future generations, or even our current generations to be around other different from themselves and learn how false the stereotypes of a race is, and learn to see people another race no different than your own race. Next, different work areas or settings that have the most racial profile could construct rules and regulations for questioning a person after it is done. For example, police know have to give report for the race of the person they stop and why they stopped
