It seems that almost d aily in the United States of America, the headline "Unarmed Black Man Killed By Police" has pulled back the veil on what many white Americans, liberal and conservative alike, have been blinded to by privilege – white privilege.
1. Define white privilege.
White privilege is a group of people mainly based on the caucasian race . in which they get everything handed to them when the rest of the “minority” have to suffer and struggle in order to make ends meat. It a privilege they receive for being white .When they are entitled to better treatment that another group in america. Is racism real in American society?
Yes of course racism is very alive and present till day . For example all the unjust killing of African Americans that have been shot by police enforcement . That situation has seriously gotten out of hand. I believe it more since this new era in which technology and social media has expanded and people across the global can see what is happening with a click of a button. Racism is very alive and very present in today's society.
3. If so, explain the impact on African Americans in the American Political System. If not, explain reasons members of the African American community believe racism is real in American society.
African American basically slowly but surely changed the political game like Horne stated before. They took america by storm. Their dedication and determination to create change for future generation as myself was extraordinary.Although they did change history that did make racism today which sad but very true statement .
