Racism has affected my everyday life from school to work. I believe racism needs to be ended because it is not getting humanity anywhere. Hating or judging a person, before you know them, based on the color of their skin or just the way that they look isn't fair. In school, Myself and other African American students have been turned away from parties hosted by students of different decent because of our race. At my job, often customers wont talk to me because of my race. They speak to me as if they're above me. After working at my job for a year, I was called a slave by one of my shift supervisors, she thought it was funny and so did the other non-black employees.
