Ralph Lane was an English colony organizer that had a projected profit of millions of goods. And had an opportunity of a lifetime brought to him by the queen, until it all came crashing down in a blink of an eye when a mysterious force demolished it. The Roanoke campaign was filled with promising features. There were promises to be rewarded with an easy life outside of England, plentiful game to hunt, and resources more plentiful and richer than queen Elizabeth’s kingdom, which made the pilgrims optimist about the process. The pilgrims/crusaders went into America optimistically about the journey and until they realized it was filled with peerless risks, and with only little to gain. To the pilgrims, It was like going into las Vegas with a mindset of not going to lose anything and caring on no matter what. It all started when Hakluyt steed his pamphlet into action in England. He described Roanoke same as how the pilgrims saw it. Luscious beginnings and a worry free life to start over. While the pilgrims are focused on the profits of Roanoke, the Christian church also underestimated the sheer force and pride the natives, by naming them as savages that need to be changed. And yet, the colonizers still haven’t learned from their failures. After the first attempt to colonize the islands ralph decided to overlook the failure to see himself alongside with the queen. Ralph ordered a second attempt to colonize even though his promise to the first colonization efforts failed. Ralph lane was still headstrong and didn’t hesitate to colonize Roanoke. When ralph established colonization he again left the colony to continue despite what happened during previous events. The times where Ralph lane went to and frow from back to England and back to Roanoke was not only a lack in perception but a lack in
