INTRO
The Roman periods, where people were still understanding the roles of the Pharaoh's as possible kings. Therefore, developed the start of clashing between empires and the understanding of the war, propaganda and politics.
Ramesses II was very young to reign as an Egyptian Pharaoh but became one of the longest reigning Pharaoh's in Egyptian history. As pharaoh, he took control over Egypt, by maintaining world order and preventing chaos.
Egypt showed off their wealth of the creation of huge sculptures that depicted the Pharaoh, hieroglyphics and the Egyptian gods themselves, under the rule of Ramesses II. The Pharaoh would sometimes be associated with one of the deities or represented as a deity, even in the war scenes. One of the main deities the Egyptians would represent the Pharaoh as was the sun god Ra as a sign of earth. The Egyptian god Amun-Ra is also associated with Ra, but is shown as the setting sun and not the rising sun.
