An immigrant from the Dominican Republic, Ramon Robles, is a middle aged male, who first came to the United States at the age of 24. Having lived in New York City for ten years and then relocating to St. Louis. Those who are close to him will say that he gives the dominant impression of perseverance as he has endured many hardships throughout his life and has overcome many of them.
Physically, Ramon stands at 5’9’. He isn’t the tallest man around; however, his presence is larger than life due to his charismatic personality. Sporting diminutively trimmed hair, it is often mistaken for a shaved head. His skin is a glazed caramel color. Blind as a bat, he wears two-toned rectangular framed glasses. Though his teeth are not perfect (as a few are overlapping), his smile is just as bright as a freshly washed white T-shirt. He possesses a protruding pot belly. Along with a large barrel shaped chest. Above the collar there are wind-reddened chubby cheeks, sitting either side of his mouth comparable to over-worn saddle bags. He worked many lackluster occupations including a custodian, waste collector, commercial truck driver, mechanic, stone setter for a jewelry company, an electrician, and an Uber driver. He had left one child in the Dominican Republic, and then he remarried and had three more children. Ramon had to persevere in order to support his four children. After finding an adequately paying job at a jewelry company, Ramon had to relocate to St .Louis after living ten years in New York. Not having any friends or family in the Midwestern region of the United States, he moved to St. Louis with his wife and children once again having to create new social
