Ray Charles Robinson is known as a professionally america singer, and songwriter.Also a genius and a musician and composer.
He was born on September 23,1930 in the town Albany Georgia.His mother was a sharecropper and father was mechanic.Also they called him Brother Ray.
Although the reason why he went blind was, when he was four years old he fell in his mother wash tub.Then he start going blind and at age seven he was completely blind.
He was a pioneer for soul music.He was singing R&B,pop,and country.
These are the songs Unchain my heart,Hit the road jack,Georgia on my mind.Over a million people thought that he was a blind genius.Also people called him one of the best artists of all time.
He was married two times and had twelve kids with nine different women.He sang a song called I Got A Women that means he wasn’t kidding.His first marriage was with Ellen Williams

When he started getting famous,he went to a school for deaf and blind kids.The name of school was Saint Augustine.
That’s when the magic happened.Then he started to learn how to play the instruments. The people who inspired Ray charles is Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, Bill Jeol,Nat King Cole.
Ray charles started a foundation for education and charities.The foundation was founded in 1986.It was named the Robinson foundation for disorder people, then in 2006 it was named the Ray Charles foundation.The foundation stayed the same after he died in 2004.
The foundation was really about people that were blind and had disorders. Also to encourage and educate people with disorders and to cure people with diseases.
Ray charles was born in 1930 in georgia.He was 73 years old when he died in 2004,after a long battle of cancer.
He died in his home in 2004 in Beverly Hills.His master records were worth over 25 million
