Raymond's Run By Squeaky Analysis

In my short life, I noticed everyone tries to act the same and try to fit in, but most of the times that is not a good thing cause you are not acting like yourself. In the story Raymond’s Run and Everything Will Be Okay, there are people and things in both stories that make people act unlike their normal selves. The theme of both story is to just act like yourself and be your own person.

In the story “Raymond's Run”, Squeaky has the challenge of taking care of her mentally challenged brother Raymond. Squeaky is a rude, mean, and snappy person. Squeaky does not fit it with everyone else and in the end she notices that that is okay. In the story “Everything Will be Okay” James is a soft, sensitive kid. But his family is the total opposite. His family think that everyone has to be a man and act very stiff when it comes to emotions. In both of these they learn is is okay to be there own person. To start with “Everything will

She has a hard time making friends since she has to take care of her brother Raymond. But in doing so she has to act tough to defend her brother even to people she knows. But the worst things about it is she can't even have a normal conversation with anyone since she is so protective it doesn't stop even when she is not with Raymond. I can compare this part to “Everything Will Be Okay” in the story James tries to save a kitten but he fails and the kitten ends up dying, Squeaky is trying to save her brother from the big world around them. And I think that is kind of a problem since he will never know what the real world is like. Both stories have different endings. “Raymond's Run” ended on a happy note But James had a sadder story.
