Reading Books Revealed In Ayn Rand's Anthem

Over the first semester, I have read three new fascinating books. I usually do not like to read but some of the books I read were engaging. The first book I read this semester was Anthem by Ayn Rand. In this book, the government doesn't like advancing or letting the smart kids learn new things. Z for Zachariah, by Robert C. O’Brien was the second book I read this semester. The last book I read this semester was Unwind by Neal Shusterman. This book was my favorite book we have read so far! We also read a short story called Examination Day by Henry Seslar which reminds me of a lot about Anthem and Unwind.

Unwinding is when a person is “divided” and their body parts are given to people who need them. When a person is unwound they are 100% alive, they are just in a divided state. Another character, Lev, turns 13, and is being tithed. His whole life people have been treating him differently, and telling him being a tithes is special and that this is why God made him. He believes he's being unwound because that's what God wants him to do. Since Lev has been preparing for being unwound he isn't scared at all. In Examination Day, the main character, Dick, is “different” and he’s way smarter than other kids his age. In Examination Day the government wants to get rid of people who are too smart. When a child turns 12 they have to go take a test. This tests checks the child's intelligence. If the kid is above average the kid will be
