Watching “Real Women Have Curves” made me think about my father and our relationship. I could really feel the main character Ana’s frustrations towards her mother.
Ana’s situation is similar to mine when it comes to having a parent that is insecure. Both Ana’s mother Lupa and my dad lays their own insecurity on their children, but at the same time you can understand that what they really want is just trying to protect you.
