Teenage rebellion plays an important role in life that everybody goes through, so there are many movies depicting rebellion in young adults. In fact, the earliest tale of teenage rebellion was written by Shakespeare himself “Romeo and Juliet”which is the classic depiction of teenage angst and rebellion, for two forbidden lovers find a way to marry, but it all takes a tragic twist when Romeo kills himself after seeing what seems to him as Juliet dead when in reality she was just asleep to avoid getting married to Paris. Many movies portray teenagers as hormonal crazy kids who do nothing but rebel. In addition to “teen rebellion” two movies that specifically portray that feature are “Heathers” and “For Keeps”.
