Dear Principal Chalmers,
As a group teacher at South Bronx Head Start, I have had the pleasure of working with Richard Tarantino for about a year and a half. He has been a great group teacher at the school and for this and many other reasons I highly recommend him for a teaching position at your school.
I have had the pleasure of working with Richard on a wide variety of tasks. Weekly all group teachers at South Bronx Head Start meet in order to plan for upcoming lesson plans. In each weekly meeting Richard always contributes an array of creative and significant ideas, while listening very intuitively to other suggestions. He is a very hard working teacher, where all of his imagination and artistic abilities come out in all of his work as well as on all of his walls. His classroom walls almost always appear as though they have come out of a children’s book. His classroom is very welcoming to the human eye. His warm and charismatic personality account for the strong relationships he has with both his students and his parents.
Richard is a very motivated educator. He puts in great effort to make sure all of his students excel to the best of their abilities. He strives to assure that none of his students are ever left behind in any specific topic or idea. He is always willing to lend a helping hand. Not only is he known as the artist for South Bronx Head Start, but other teachers and staff are always seeking his advice with their daily activities and
