Consumption of meat has been evident since history, the meat consumed in the past were not infected with chemicals and all other substances. The meat was safe to digest but as the world developed more into the technological and scientific field, meat has become harmful to our bodies. Considering a meatless dies has proven to be a significant better lifestyle to maintain good health. Meat has lost its originality due to meat now being processed. Therefore a vegetarian diet is increasingly in participation mainly due to the reason being that this type of diet does not bring processed food to the plate, instead it contains a safer diet for our body to consume as it has less consequences than consuming in a diet with meat. It has been proven that processed meat are linked to the increased rate of health diseases. Therefore humans should limit or totally give up meat products as their dietary choices. The processed meat contain certain properties as it has the ability to increase the chances of heart disease and cancer. The most consumed kind of meat evidently is red meat; it has been stated that red meat should not be consumed more than eighteen ounces per week (Nierenberg, B. (2015, October 30). Vegetarian lifestyle includes a safer and natural source of food for our bodies. To indulge more in a vegetarian lifestyle allows a person to consumer food that in not processed or infused with chemicals that are cancerous to our bodies. It is shown that a person who follows a vegeterian diet have shown to have lower LDL chloesterol levels, lower blood pressure, lower BMI as well as lower chances of cancers.
