Reflection On Being One Of The First Generation Canadian

As being one of the first generation Canadian, I always wanted to be someone unique. I believe the good and bad experiences made me who I am but especially the bad experiences had a bigger impact. In my addition I grew up as a Christian and always had compassion in my heart to forgive those who have hurt me in the past.
One of the three impacting experiences that made me was when I was growing up was being told I was not smart or good enough, especially when I was in grade one my elementary teacher would often have meeting with my parents and say I was slow and constantly day dreaming in class and my parents would have constant arguments about me . At that time my parents were not as stable I felt I made the situation even worse.
