Reflection On Seventh Observation

During my seventh observation at the CSC (Child Study Center) I walked in and went straight to the 4 year old room. At this point all the students know who I am. I think now that they know when I will be there. Also some of the kids are happy to see me. As I first starting going to the CSC for observations the students were more stand off-isa. Now that the students know who I am they run to me and greet me sometimes even before I get all the way in the door. I have noticed a great amount of emotional change and even development in some of the students. When I first started observing the students only interacted with the other students and the teachers. Now that they have gotten used to me being there they have started including me in what they are participating in. …show more content…
The students have started to open up to me and I have learn who is more sensitive with there feelings. I have caught on to who is more mom-like and who is more of a follower. It is cool to see how what we have talked about in class with emotional development take place in an actual classroom. With this being my seventh observation I have seen a lot of emotional growth in the students. I have seen kids disagree with each other and find ways to resolve their problems. I have seen kids get upset and scared about going to new places that they have never seen before. I have seen fits that have been resolve by the help of a teacher. I think that I have seen it all. I have even learnt new ways to understand and fix and issue. While the students’ emotional development grow so does mine with every observation I go
