The National Honor Society (NHS) of Cross Keys High School is an academic honor society comprised of the premier students within the school. The organization is very selective, inviting only upperclassmen students displaying exceptional academic achievement and a commitment to community service.

I had the honor of being inducted into NHS in eleventh grade. As a new inductee, I exhibited commendable leadership skills and a devotion to service. As a result, I was elected secretary of the 2016-2017 academic school year. As a member and officer of NHS, I have the privilege of participating in and organizing monthly service initiatives, including: teacher appreciation campaigns, winter clothes drives, and scholarship and financial aid workshops.
