Manifest Destiny and the American dream are related because people do unfathomable things to obtain wealth, prosperity in the name of legacy, and good social standing. Manifest destiny was the ideology that white settlers were able to expand their territories from coast to coast with the belief that it was their god given right to do so which later led to an array of conflicts. While colonialism led to economic growth in the USA, it caused great turmoil for the natives of the land. According the constitution, all men were created equal but the actions displayed by white settlers and the federal government showed how untrue that really was. Manifest Destiny destroyed the American Dream but it made the united states the country it is today.
